Physics
The department of Physics is a part of this college which is established in 1994 with a special ambition to give knowledge of Physics and to deliver fundamental Physics terminologies in a better way. Department has well equipped undergraduate laboratory. The faculty engaged in research and in giving guidance to students. Faculty completed Minor research project, published papers in National and International journals, presented their papers in International, National and State level conferences. They are actively participated in extension activities. The department has active MOU. The department always tries to develop overall personality of students by conducting various student centric activities.

Muffle Furnace, Cathode Ray Oscilloscopes, Frequency generators, Power supply, Computer, Printer, Optical Bench, Spectrometers, Travelling Microscopes, Ballistic Galvanometers, spot galvanometers,Polarimeter, Goniometers, Dimmerstates,Keter’s Pendulum, Coupled pendulum, Poiseulle’s apparatus, Jaeger’s apparatus,Searle’s apparatus, Lees apparatus, Joule’s colorimeter, Callender and Barne’s apparatus , Platinum resistance, Amplifier,Thermocouples, Searle’s Viscometer etc.

Programme Specific Outcomes
1. Understand the core concept of Physics subject.

Students are expected to acquire knowledge in various branches such as Classical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, Solid State Physics, Electrodynamics, Electronics, Optics, Energy Studies, Atomic Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Material Science, Thermodynamics and Mathematical and Statistical Physics.
3. Excel in Experimental and theoretical Physics.
4. Acquire skill for higher education.
5. Train to take up jobs in different fields.
6. Create interest in various competitive examinations.
7. Students are also expected to develop written and Oral communication skill
through seminars.
